Teacher/Director
I established “DramaWorks Theatre & Film Company” in 2008. I teach and organise courses in Acting, Film and Music Theatre. I’m proud to have worked with many international teachers and creatives over the years who each bring their own unique experience and insight to the school. Being a director has allowed me to collaborate with schools, theatres and likeminded artists to produce memorable and meaningful performances on stage and screen.
Before locating to Budapest, I trained as an actress and dancer with the YEM Theatre School, and gained my teaching diploma with the London College of Music at Thames Valley University and the Professional Teachers of Dance.

I also hold a Cambridge CELTA certificate for teaching English. I am an experienced dialect coach with experience of working on large film productions and well as private coaching.
In the UK I ran the ‘Little Dragon Theatre Company’ where I worked as a director, dance/drama teacher and entertainer, directing theatre shows and children’s theatrical parties.
I fell in love with performing arts in my early teens, I found it magical to be in shows, to dance and explore a world of stories and characters through acting. I always enjoyed the buzz of live theatre and the journey of creating a show. But I think it was after teaching my first class that I realised what that magic meant to me and what it would bring to my students. I believe the imagination is a wonderful tool for teaching and the essence of acting.
